Anyone know how long a paypal payment takes to hit and account? I'm selling something and the buyer says he sent the paypal but I do not see it in my payments received box? He sent it earlier today, and i just checked five minutes ago.

Should be instant From the buyer into your paypal account... but it takes a couplde of days for you to transfer it from your paypal to your bank acct

I get the feeling you are possibly being scammed? Got an email from paypal saying the money was there buy it actually isn't in your account? Check where the email actually came from.

ok thanks, i'm not trying to transfer it to my bank. I was just checking to see if "I got money" and i don't.

Never follow a link from an email. Type www.paypal.com in manually yourself. You would be surprised how many people fall for this one.

i didn't follow a link, he pm'd here to let me know he sent the paypal. I typed the url directly into my search bar. I'm not sure whats going on but i just won't send anything out until its received. Thanks for the heads up though.

I just checked my email and there is an email from this guys wife @yahoo.com It looks like its from paypal but its not. And there is a link connected to it that says "confirm your email and you'll be able to see the money in your acct." If someone had sent me money wouldn't paypal have sent me an email, not xxxxxx@yahoo.com? I think they are trying to rip me off.

Yes, yes they are. They want your account info. Very common scam.

Well actually, i was wrong. I just logged onto my wires paypal and sent myself ten bucks. It didn't show up either. Then i checked my email for a similar email to the one i received from XXX@yahoo.com. Within seconds of making the payment to myself i got a email from my wife's paypal account and it was identical to the one i got from xxx. So i logged onto paypal and verified my email and boom, both payments showed up. I have already pm'd the guy and apologized. I'll be mailing his part out tomorrow.
