Headed to Maui for 12 nights right now...

I took a promotion about 8 months ago that I knew going in would be a lot of hard work for a bit to get things running properly. Well, its been a looooong 8 months, but my team has gone from consistently the worst in the company to the best for our 4th month in a row now...and it's time for a much needed break.

Headed to PDX now for 11 full days of sun, surf, snorkeling, fishing, sushi, drinking and relaxing on Maui. 8 days around Ka'anapali (sp?), then 3 in Hana town.

Any suggestions on where to fish? First time bringing gear :)

Sounds like an awesome trip! Im headed out to the big island in two weeks for about 10 days. Im heading out on a charter boat one of the days in hopes of getting a marlin, or maybe even a nice tuna. I am planning on doing some fishing from the beach/rocks while im out there, im bringing a 3 piece travel rod and a medium spinner spooled up with 20lb braid. Im pretty clueless as to what type of lures would work, but if you have any luck please share! Enjoy the vacation

Forget about loser kids bragging about their "fresh paint" iS lip and bottle cap wheels.
I had a blast, Maui is awesome! Drink, beach bum, and enjoy God's scenery in more ways than one ;)
