Hey everybody my name is Steve and I just joined up. I'm a former e34 owner, i was stationed overseas and I owned a 1990 520i. I got the car with a blown HG, drove it until it was too inconvenient to keep filling the radiator, then with the help of a friend i pulled a new head from another junked e34 and did a light engine rebuild. I loved this car more then anything, it served me well and was incredibly nice for an island car. I would have taken it back with me but it wasn't old enough to get past having to drop 7k in emission and safety equipment. I now live in gorgeous San Diego and my bug has come back alive. Im looking to purchase another bimmer before November, but I've got up until around that time (as I'm using a friends car while they are on deployment) to find the right one. My current DD is a 2011 Harley Davidson Wide Glide and that too is my baby. It's gorgeous and I take care of it like no other. As far as BMW, I'm looking for a late 80s- mid 90s vehicle that has potential to become something nice. That's all I'm really going to limit it to since the sky is the limit.
