    WTAC Eastern Creek

So anybody going to WTAC in Sydney at eastern creek this year. I am trying to see if me and the missus can get there. Only issue would be getting somewhere to stay I supose.

Experience the adrenaline of the world's fastest time attack cars, here in Sydney at the World Time Attack Challenge. Get the latest event info, main attractions, and buy tickets on our website!

Most of you Americans probably wont be. I would think.

Nice, will be good to meet so interstaters. I am going to see if an old friend I know has somewhere for me and the missus to crash possible. If not know of any places to stay, not to expensive?

There's a Formula One motel nearby but I'd bet it's booked out. Otherwise, I'd look at staying somewhere towards the city (Silverwater, Parramatta, Strathfield, etc) and just hiring a car, then blasting out over the M4 each day.

when you confirm you're coming drop me a PM and I'll shoot you my mobile number. I'll be running around the pits as I will (hopefully) be covering the event for a magazine. Just need to finalise my press accred

It's not hard to navigate if you take your time and stick to main roads.

And I've been working on magazines since '02. I've worked on a bunch of car mags. :)

Nice do you do it on the side or full time? I would love to do motorsports photography on the side. I am hoping with my new lens I bough last night I will actually be able to start a portfolio.

Was full-time on SPEED/Auto Salon mags. I freelance for the others while I work full-time on a dirtbike mag. They're all part of the pushing house here, though so it's not like I get to sit at home chain-smoking bongs and getting paid to write about cars. :(

Must be fun getting to talk, live and breath motorsports all day even if you can chain smoke bongs at home. lol
