sometimes, maybe not here...
in a pinch you can use a good quality bolt and cut down into it with a hacksaw into quaters and massage the new cut ears inward.
great for cleaning up nuts and blind threads.
its not a tap but its almost free.Originally posted by der affeWhat are you going to start a thread about next? "My woman's skinny jeans chaffe my special parts, f*ck skin irritation"

That actually sounds like it might work. Gotta see if I have any good bolts laying around. i have a crap ton of old rusty bolts. A couple local places were trying to sell me a tap for 30 - 35 dollars. i couldnt see myself spending that fir something i might only need this one time but if it comes to it, I might have to bite the bullet.Fuck you buddy

i think if you get a grade 8 then you cant cut it with a hacksaw.
i dont know what grade is the hardest that can be cut with a hacksaw though.
also when chasing/cleaning the threads, go a little, back it out , blow out crap, oil it up, go down a little more, back it out, etc..Originally posted by der affeWhat are you going to start a thread about next? "My woman's skinny jeans chaffe my special parts, f*ck skin irritation"
