My worst thread idea ever but I'm curious. Do you have the one shoe fits all tasks mentality or do you rock different things for different aspects of your life? Two years ago I had a whopping one pair of shoes, some DC skates that I wore for everything. Weddings? DC's. Work? DC's. Party? DC's. Running? DC's. In the last couple years that's done a 180 thanks to some growing up and changes in my life. Some of my new hobbies kind of necessitate specialized footwear.
I've got 9 pairs at the moment
1. Reebok's for general day to day wearA* SMX plus riding boots
2. Pair of Aldo's for fancier occasionsBurton boarding boots
3. RedWing workboots
4. Evolv rock shoes
5. Solomon hiking boots
6. Burton boarding boots
7. A* SMX plus riding boots
8. Old pair of Dakota work boots for working on the car at home
9. a pair of skates for when I'm doing messy shit that I don't want to ruin anything else with. (or don't feel like wearing massive steel toe boots for)
I'm on the fence about grabbing a pair of the PUMA motorsport shoes for autocross days but I'm not 100% sure what I need to look for in them. Does anyone have any pointers? It looks like their purpose is the thin soles and flexibility for movement and pedal feel, is there anything else?
