How many pairs of shoes/boots do you own?

My worst thread idea ever but I'm curious. Do you have the one shoe fits all tasks mentality or do you rock different things for different aspects of your life? Two years ago I had a whopping one pair of shoes, some DC skates that I wore for everything. Weddings? DC's. Work? DC's. Party? DC's. Running? DC's. In the last couple years that's done a 180 thanks to some growing up and changes in my life. Some of my new hobbies kind of necessitate specialized footwear.

I've got 9 pairs at the moment
    1. Reebok's for general day to day wearA* SMX plus riding boots
    2. Pair of Aldo's for fancier occasionsBurton boarding boots
    3. RedWing workboots
    4. Evolv rock shoes
    5. Solomon hiking boots
    6. Burton boarding boots
    7. A* SMX plus riding boots
    8. Old pair of Dakota work boots for working on the car at home
    9. a pair of skates for when I'm doing messy shit that I don't want to ruin anything else with. (or don't feel like wearing massive steel toe boots for)

I'm on the fence about grabbing a pair of the PUMA motorsport shoes for autocross days but I'm not 100% sure what I need to look for in them. Does anyone have any pointers? It looks like their purpose is the thin soles and flexibility for movement and pedal feel, is there anything else?

In my lifetime I've owned well over 100-200 pairs of skate shoes, (I'm 20)

Right now I probably have about 14 pairs of shoes.

                1. General purpose tennis shoes. Ugly, but great for the court/biking/working
                2. Hiking boots. Expensive. I use them for multi day backpacking trips.
                3. Soccer cleats.
                4. Adidas Sambas- My shoe of choice for every day stuff and driving, but it now has holes in the heels and is almost retired. It's just so damn comfortable!
                5. Flip flops. Do these count?
                6. Dress shoes, for dressing up and swing dancing
                7. Puma Repli Cat - My new favorite driving shoe. It makes every other shoe feel like you're driving with bricks ducktaped to your feet.

A note on the Repli Cats: The biggest downside is what makes them great for driving, the complete lack of a soul and tread, especially on the sides. This makes them TERRIBLE for athletic endeavors. The lack of any significant sole on the edge of the shoe makes it much easier to roll ones ankle when quickly changing directions. I'm a pretty serious table tennis player and almost rolled my ankle playing in these shoes. Just about rolled it again playing dodgeball. Barefoot would have been better. And while they fit and feel not unlike soccer cleats, they would never function as indoor soccer shoes. My Sambas were awesome indoor soccer shoes and general court shoes, and they made for a pretty decent driving shoe. The Repli Cats also aren't great for long distance walking, as they have no arch support and have soles soft and thin enough to feel gravel when you step on it, to the point that it sometimes hurts. That said, They are spiffy looking, so I wear my Repli's to work every day (desk job) and around town on most occasions. If I had another pair of Samba's I would probably wear them more often as a daily shoe. Since my cars are stick shift I don't ever wear tennis shoes any more, at least not until I get to a location where I need them, then I change.

Haha I knew someone would pick up on that! I do enjoy early blink- not so much any of their new stuff. My brother told me about Macbeth's so I got the Elliots and I loved them so I kept getting them and his site sells them dirt cheap.. Can't argue with $45/ pair. Just for comparison, Vans out here are $85. fugvansrightoff.
