    135i tire popper!

yesterday afternoon this 4 1/2" drill bit went through the tire on our 135i at 60+mph. Scary.

It went in the side wall of the tire, spun around and took the paint off the outer edge of the wheel well.

    That is all

            ^lol

The car got towed to the dealer before I thought of taking pictures. Luckily we have very good insurance on the car so it will cover most of tr damage.

Well that sucks. You should see what half a semi tire did to the front of my E39.

                      Suuuuxxxxx.

That's not a drill bit P.S. ...It's a chisel piece for an air hammer.

No, that's a spade bit and the cutting end got broken off. You can tell by the other end where it fits into the chuck of a drill.

haha, whatever it is. It shouldn't be on a road where it can stick into a tire! must have fallen out of someones work truck or something. OP glad your insurance is covering most of this.

ive had that same exact thing happen to my e46, except it didnt blow out and it happened right as i was pulling into work, so i went to pull what i thought was some weird metal thing out of my side wall, only to pull one of those fuckers out. needless to say i was quite agitated
