That is badass. I've always been intrigued by prosthesis design. Yes, your cf foot looks akin to a trans brace, however more similar to a 323i dogleg brace (single sided).

I saw a good friends father a little while back on a trip to the eastern shore...

He told me he had lost his leg (I wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't said anything), and I asked if it was a motorcycle accident. He thought about it for a second, and told me "yep, that sounds good."

No e30 wouldn't need a grappling hook to get around a corner. If all else fail I don't see why you couldn't integrate some bear grade mace. Like the stuff the use on Dog the bounty hunter.
