Unless he had a 1000w under every single plant, he wasn't pulling off more than 3-6 ounces per plant. The most I've seen pulled off of hydro was 2.1lbs off a 5th generation Big Bud GDP plant that was under a 1000w light for months, not weeks. That thing had a stalk the size of your wrist.

I'm seeing a hood under every 20-25 plants, which is probably for the veg cycle. Under the blooming I'm seeing up to 4 over those 20-25 so probably 4000w over 20 plants...

There's so many variables to take into consideration, how long he was vegging, was he SOG'ing them, was he letting them reach max growth then blooming, etc.

(Longer the wait, bigger the harvest)...but longer the wait
(Shorter the wait, smaller the harvest)...but turn around time is quicker

Regardless 600 plants does not have the potential to generate 3 million dollars. That would be $5,000 a plant, which would be 1-2 pounds PER plant! I'm guessing he wasn't pulling off more than 3-6 based on those photos. It's not impossible to pull off that much, but based on the photos, not what was going on. Pshh, rookies

They also used the word "grossed" not "netted"...Take into consideration his electricity bill which had to be thousands a month, soil, water, nutrients for 600 plants, labor paid, cost of doing business (mold, bugs, etc.) evaporation (bud dries, 3 pounds off the plant could turn into 1 real quick.) So take that $20,000 a month...and make it >$6K LOL.

I'm estimating his grow op at >500K. Still impressive nonetheless but he wasn't the ring leader. He was the pawn. The older guys were most likely in charge and used him as a pawn for when/if they got caught. He's being charged as a juvenile, so no big boy jail or felony life sentence.

sadly, i knew of a guy in my hood growing up, we were all way below the poverty level...he was selling weed to put himself through a community college, when he got nabbed, and the cops never reported his cash, but trashed everything else, and he got 5-10 years....last time i saw him.
