The little guy only had 6k in cash from a 20k monthly profit. Does that make sense to anyone? Am I the only who doesn't believe this story or maybe one of the kids so called employees was the real mastermind behind this. And only blamed the minor for being the mastermind for a lesser jail sentence?

I will have to say growing quality hydroponic weed is one of the hardest things to grow. The plants are very temperamental and act like bitches if its not perfect growing conditions. It is a skill and an art to producing quality bud.

If the little shit had devoted 1/2 that energy and drive into something legit, he would be nearly as far ahead, with out the felonies, jail time, and so on. Yeah yeah, You have to have the PH just right, and constantly be adjusting it and so on. its a lot of work. Just a little different kinda of work that growing other stuff. little more "sciency" that manual "labory" but yeah point take. Dozy I really fail to see the humor in that but ok.

Yup, but what is there really good to say about someone that breaking the law and running a drug ring, not to mention tax evasion and all a few other things. I dont claim to be smarter, there are many on here that are way smarter than I, and I deal with people every day that are as well. Well then if hes 17 hes old enough to know better....... right?? I mean after all at about 10 we start getting harped on about how bad those kind of things are and that they are indeed illegal. Hell that was going on when I was in school. When I was that age I never had less than 6k in my bank account and I had to work and save for every penny of it. He mad a profit on a high demand, relatively hard to get high risk product. If he had not made a profit then he would have been even dumber. If hes so smart why do something illegal, if hes so smart, why not do something legit for fucks sake. He was selling 20k worth of pot a month of course he was going to get caught. Yup I would have less issues with it if he was doing it in a state where you can. BUT I know for a fact MI would be out. There is no way you can have 600 plants even if your a "care giver" Some of my closest friends and a couple of relatives still live in MI and are serious pot heads and have those cards. Other states I am not sure of but when MT had its pot law you could not have more than 25 plants I think.

It's a shame when people take it too far. Edit: It associates the entire marijuana industry/medicinal users/etc with crime and illegal activity. It gives the entire population a bad name when shit like this happens.

What can be profitable, legal (under city mandated guidelines) and prosperous just gets taken over by the GREEDY. I do it for the love of the science behind it, not profits. Obviously I vend to medicinal clubs to cover electricity cost, but I'm not greedy like these (and many other asshole abusing the system). As I was saying, there's something about watching a seed grow into a full blown bloomed MJ plant that fascinates me. Managing temperature, humidity, soils PH level, avoiding nutrient lock, bugs, adding AC to drop nitrogen levels assisting in adding some color to it! (Purple) And don't get me started on cross breading, mother plants, etc. There's so many factors it's absolutely fascinating, and when you can proudly say that you produce some of best buds/concentrates at some of the best clubs in California, it's rewarding. Fuck this kid, and this ring, I'm glad they got busted. It was illegal, so PEACE. I'm rooting for the cops on this one.

On the other hand- Here in Cali where I'm in my legal limit, I had multiple SHERIFF's in my garage when I called them over this ordeal. All I got were compliments for doing it right, having my paperwork clearly presented (and laminated!) and accessible. Even compliments on how my plants looked haha.

Have your paperwork, stay within your limits, and vend to the LICENSED clubs for donation money for what it took to grow the herb. Oh, and pay your taxes!! Haha, don't sell it on the street like some scum bag gang ring, there's a way to do it- the right way

These guys took it too far, so they got what was coming to them IMO.
