C-17's are only stationed in the us. Hawaii and alaska have them too but ramstein only has c130's i was considering going back to them but it's a kids airplane and i dont feel likeliving in the aor forever. 2 days and out for me.

A kids airplane you can do unassisted stop and go's on a carrier with, I'll take that. I used to work on level D sims and we had one old ass C130 sim, loved that thing more than anything else.

When I refer to a kid's airplane I mean a younger guy aka in his late teens and to mid 30's doing 4 aor quick turns and airdrops is not my thing anymore.

I loaded three CH-47d's with one student and a two junior loads the other day....Needless to say I had to raise my voice a few times. Plus I went a round with my new squadron commander yesterday at Spang due to their incompetence. He was not happy in the least bit.

Im in the af. Active to reserves now Im reserve and civilian. Its called an air reserve technician. I do the same thing I do reserves but in civilian status. Nice dual retirement too :)
