Need some thoughts (new car content)

My GF's mom is looking to buy a brand new car. She currently has a 2000 Honda Civic. She is looking at the brand new Accords now because she wants something a little bit bigger. Thoughts? What other cars should I tell her to look at?

Criteria:
4 door
Not toooo big
Bigger then a 2000 Civic
No EV

I think the Mazda 6 is actually a pretty nice car. Took a test drive in a 2009? ish one when it was new and the v6 model is actually pretty quick, and overall the car was comfortable and accommodating.

I always said if I were a reasonable man I'd have one of those.

e39 last of the good looking bmws well maybe an e46 but for sure e39

She's looking for something brand new and reliable. She is going to buy it. Something in the same price category as a '12-'13 Honda Accord.

She is pretty much set on the Accord but I might go with her to look and maybe suggest a few different cars just to compare
