Peachparts is a good forum. I got a W123 wagon this past summer and I love it. Mercedes parts aren't as easy to get as BMW parts though. There isn't a realoem type site and a lot of stuff is NLA.

I just sold my 123 300sd turbo last week~ driving for free on fryer grease made up for how slow the thing was.

There were some good examples of these chassis on a certain 'stance' website.

This, that 300 cannot pull off Monos. Some AMG splits would look great on there, or some BBS RS. I would use that as a daily or just off load it for money e30 money.

I would agree with you that they look awesome on a 500E, but his Beige 300E is a far cry from a 500E. Muuuch wider fenders on the 500E and a big V8 to back up the rubber... That may also be a de-badged AMG Hammer, but the Hammer is based on a 500E platform, so it's still a similar looking car.

To OP... Leave the 300E as it is and enjoy the ride and reliability of a 90's Mercedes... spend your money on upgrades for the E30....

Someone repost my pics from the other thread :). Old Benz ftw. I had a 87 turbo diesel before the 190. Absolutely loved that car until my sister managed to throw a rod through the block. Don't ask me how I haz no idea
