Those Mercedes 3 liters are actually awesome sounding engines, take the rear and center mufflers off and they sound like a cross between a longtubed m20 and a RB.

Wow, that is one of the hottest TE's I've seen.......well done! As for w124 forums, there used to be a 124 coupe forum, as well as a 500E/E500 forum, but I think those have mostly gone away. The info was as good if not better than most e30 forums. Benzworld is probably as good as it gets nowadays for the 124, though that knowledge base is a little more hit or miss. Really good for the 126, but the 124 section seemed to have a little less participation. Then of course you have mbworld, mymbonline, etc, but those are basically e46fanatics for MB's. I think there is another one that spun off from some disgruntled folks at MBWorld, but I forget what the name was and I have no idea if it caught on or not. Maybe I can find the link.
