BFL is gonna close up shop and laugh and run away with all your money.

AFAIK, BFL still hasn't started shipping miners and it will be around 200 days since they started taking money from thousands of pre-payers.

If (according to a bitcoin calculator) I'm going to make $6000/month
Why wouldn't I just buy this?
Why wouldn't anyone just buy this?
I know the bitcoin mining gets exponentially difficult, so mining won't be easy but honestly..why wouldn't anyone just do it?
It all seems too good to be true..

people playing with forex generally know what they're doing.
this is like the penny stock of currencies. pump and dump.

By your argument, anyone playing with forex at all is wrong. If that's really your opinion, yeah, you probably should stay out of this particular game.

I'm on the other side of the fence. I mine, I bought in last year at $7 a coin, so I personally don't have shit to lose really. It's people who read about it on the news, hear some jackass "economist" (self proclaimed or not) say they expect $500+ each. Then new investors came in with their bank loans and shit buying at $250+. Buyer beware, if you don't know what it is, if your uncomfortable, stay out. It's been nothing but fun and profitable for myself, I can say that much.
