Anyone played True Crimes:S O New Y?

I've played the LA version, and the new one looks pretty badass...

I'm debating on milking my wisdom teeth deal to try to get my parents to buy me a game to play on my PS2 while I'm laid up... any thoughts/suggestions?

I didn't really like LA.

The graphics on LA were horrid. If you actually sat and played the game it got better, but a ton of the missons were bulshit nearly impossible crap.

i just liked the one mission where yer sneaking around in the massage parlor killing ppl...other than that, what was up with the flying monsters and crap...stupid.

I just liked to drive around and kill people on the street missions.

Also, unlocking all the car tricks was badass.

i thought the shootout levels were pretty sick with the use of bullettime and stuff. i felt the game was somewhat easy and short though.
