What to do with an old crank?

I picked this thing up at a place I used to work a few years ago, and just haven't gotten rid of it. I keep thinking I'll come up with something cool to do with it, but inspiration hasn't struck. I was thinking it'd make a bitchin' lamp, but I don't want to pay to have a hole drilled all the way through, and I'm too much of a perfectionist to have a cord going up the side.

    Anyone have any good ideas?

And three free internets to the first person to correctly identify what car it's from.

A guy near me has his mailbox mounted on a 16cyl crank. It looks badass.

Nah, that's what this is for (when I ever get around to it, that is).

That'd be sick, but this is too short.

I'd make a lamp if there was any way to get a cord through it.

Do the lamp, don't you have any buddies with powertools? A large electric drill might do it. Lamp would be sick, time to go grab a 4cyl crank out of a Saab.

Add some connecting rods and make a wine bottle holder.

                    Not a Supra, nope.

It'd take more than a hand drill to get through this bad boy. It'd basically have to be gun drilled.

If you did it right you could wrap the cord up and around it. May have to do something with the cord to make it work but it could make a pretty cool lamp i think
