As the golden rule always says...quit while you're ahead. I woke up feeling confident this morning, walked back into the 101 Casino with $300 (I always walk in with a predetermined amount I'm willing to gamble, no "I'm going to win my money back, hang on while I run to the ATM" bullshit) and ended up losing a little bit.

I was playing $40 hands for a while, I was up to about $500 in chips all together (should have walked away), but I baussed up and started playing $100 hands. Bitch hit 21 three times in a row.

    Hands:

    Me: K, 8
Her: A showing, checks her face down card, Black Jack!

    Me: J, 9
Her: Q showing, checks her face down card, Black Jack!

    Me: K,Q....YES I'm thinking
Her: 5 showing, flips her card, it's a J. I think Awww shit (15), she's either going to bust or I've got her with my 20...she gets a 6. Fucking 21

I lost $300 in five minutes. I cashed out my $200 remaining chips in disappointment lol. (Lost $100 total) I guess it could have been worse.

Side Track:...There was a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo in the parking lot. Upon entering there was an Asian man, collared shirt, sunglasses (2am), playing Texas Hold'em. He had roughly 20 rows of chips, each about 25 chips tall, and I asked the cashier "What increments are those chips in?" pointing to the gentleman... She replied "$100's" with a "Yeah, holy shit" look on her face.

I'm assuming the car was his because he-and the car were still there playing when I returned this morning. At no more than 28-35 years old it must be nice to drive around your Lamborghini and have $50k in chips just chillin. Side story posted because I'm jelly hahaha.

      Black Jack's my game too.
My first time me and my buddy went to our local casino before he was gonna be deployed. We both walked in with $20 and walked out with a total of about $2k between us. You know what they say "beginner's luck". Good night. We partied it the fuck up the next night like no one's business.

        Tonight 08.06.12

Blew it at River Rock Casino.

Walked in with my predetermined $200, played solid $20-$40 hands for a while staying around an even $200 then I hit luck. I was playing on the 8 deck table, after about another hour I was up to $400 in chips.

I walked over to the single deck table- there was a lot of action going on. I started playing big, $60-$100 hands, and throwing $1 on the "300-1" space. (If you hit A diamond, and another 10 card diamond on the first deal you win $300 off your $1) I hit it miraculously, so I was up around $700. Should have walked away right?

Kept playing as the night went on, new dealer came on and hit 21 three times in a row AGAIN on $100 hands. (Fuck you Mike haha, I told him I wasn't going to accept his FB friend request.) Kept playing and lost another $100 then decided it was time to give up.

Walked away with $300 (minus my initial $200) so I netted $100. Could have been $500 though...

I used to play a lot of online poker. I'd used to be able to make an extra couple hundred bucks a week. Then, like most, I went on a loosing streak and lost quite a bit a money.

Why not? Plenty of people always do well in casinos. My brother always walks away with around 1k after our Vegas trips

Unless I play poker I do not gamble much at all

This has just been the past weekend. Believe me I've lost quite a bit, Harrahs in Tahoe last month took me for $1,200 in 5 minutes. I was throwing big money on roulette sticking with black, red hit 6 times in a row and green once.

If casinos allowed phones I'd take a picture with the pit boss flipping you off. Why would I start a thread like this based on fallacies? I don't need R3V's coolness approval, just thought it was something that hadn't been covered yet.
