Drilled 4 holes in a close to 4x100 pattern in a 2x8. Got some 9" bolts(threaded rod), then used a spade bit to sink the nut on the backside. Then bolt and big washer on the back side. Then put a nut on the other side of the board and tightened them down. Lagged the 2x8 to the wall(find a beam).
Then used lug nuts on the mounting rod and tightened down till the wheel was sucked tight to the wall.
Still in search of a clean style 5 to use instead of the bottle cap.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

The super cool way I did it with a bent Boxter wheel a few houses ago.
Get any old front or rear hub, in this case from an e30. Get a piece of tubing that will closely match the ID of the hub, this will allow it to spin. Then welded on a washer just inside the rear outer edge of the hub and the front outside edge of the hub. This will create 2 positive stops so the hub will stay put.
Next, depending on where you are going to mount it size up a piece of 10 or 12 gauge steel and drill mounting holes in all 4 corners so you can mount it to the wall. Now find center and mark it. Weld the tubing with the hub to the plate. Tack it first and check it with a speed square so it is at 90° to the backing plate.
Next take a hole saw and drill a hole in the barrel part of the wheel slightly larger then the hose. De burr both sides of the hole throughly.
Thread the hose through the hole and sleeve it where it will pass through the wheel with some old hose of the correct size to fit through the wheel hole ( you could also use a grommet if you can find one.
Now mount the plate minus the wheel to the wall. Next bolt the wheel up to it with lug nuts.
Now of you spin the wheel, it will wind up the hose onto the wheel.
Hopefully, this all makes sense. I lost any pictures aseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
