Jelly bean? Its supposed to be fast.
Verizon indeed does do Sim cards.
I'm biased against att as they always screw everything up.
I'm using a Droid bionic with LTE and its super fast, dual core processor. Only problem is that its super hot, you will think it runs on nuclear fission.

How does Verizon's national coverage/speed compare to AT&T?
Also, I get a 25% discount at AT&T through my current employer (Sprint still thinks I have a different job to keep that discount)...........so Verizon would have to be dramatically better.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Stick it out until iphone 5 is released on AT&T. If you can not hold out until then, best option would be Samsung galaxy S3 at this moment (IN MY OPINION). I have one myself and i must say it's a pretty bad ass phone, i just got it and have not had a single problem with it. Plus, its really thin/light/FAST/reliable). I have it for T-mobile though.. I've had every single iphone (used to jailbreak/unlock them for all gsms and use in Europe when i'm on vacation etc..) I've also heard that iphone 5 has something "special" in store. Not sure if it is just rumors or whatever. But from my experience.. Apple is Apple.. you get something that will work and last for as long as you're going to use it. Just look at Apple Iphone's Siri.. It was released last year when the iphone 4s came out.. ONLY NOW has Samsung incorporated something similar (S-voice) into their phones. So if anything iphone 5 is going to be basically 1 year ahead of the cell phone game. Just my .02 cents though. Good Luck :)
Edit: The Galaxy s3 also has a great battery and display. It lasts all day and i text/talk/play games/browse r3v.. Really can't go wrong with the S3, And i've seen deals on them when i bought mine. At&t has them for ~$150 and costco had them for around this price as well but they come with 2 leather pouch-like cases, car charger, wall charger, 2 screen protectors and a bigger zip up carrying case or whatever they are called. Search the web (slickdeals.net) for good deals on them too. But yes galaxy s3 rivals iphone pretty well right now.Last edited by Project 325i; 08-07-2012, 11:13 AM.Calypsorot 2.7L Stroker Turbo - Sold

Nailed it! Exactly why after running Android phones for the past 4 years I am switching to iPhone.
My EVO 4G has been rebuilt and replaced four times in two years. Even at the subsidized prices these phones should easily last the duration of a basic contract.Originally posted by blunttechAlways Always go for the reach around if there is an optionComment

Yep i had the same issues. I got a HTC sensation 4g and after a couple months of using it it started to collect dust under the glass on the screen.. Thankfully it still had warranty and that was no problem.
I've also seen the insides of these phones and them taken all apart. Iphone is just much better built. All of the internals on these phones feel tough. Whereas when i went through the internals on a few android phones (sensation, samsung galaxy note, nexus S) .. well i guess i cant say they were cheap, because they were not...just was not apple... Call me biased or w/e but i've had plenty of phones and Apple made the best impression.

How difficult is it to jailbreak/hacking/rooting (or whatever you wanna call it) an iPhone compared to an Android? I like iphones but the openness of the android OS always attracted me. I'd like to at least tether without paying for it

I personally like androids system and ease of unlocking/rooting etc.. better than apples. At first it will seem different i guess from unlocking/jailbreaking apple phones but once you get the hang of it you should have no problems. However.. unlocking the samsung galaxy note from at&t for use with tmobile and making tmobiles 4g work with it cost me money I had to buy a code from ebay in order to fully "unlock" it. I suppose the main difference would be that with apple there are many developers that put out free software to unlock it and with android you SOMETIMES end up paying money for the unlock. But the level of difficulty in my opinion is that it's a lot easier to unlock and mess around with kernels/rooting and stuff on android OS.
Really need to try it out to know for yourself :)
I've only done a couple androids but once you get it down and know where to look its all 1. 2. 3.Calypsorot 2.7L Stroker Turbo - Sold
