iPod won't sync

When plugged in, a screen pops up titled "Camera Connected" along with a box that lists various programs such as Word etc... The iTunes account doesn't automatically open. When opened manually, a box apears stating "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started."

Use sites that give more money to artists. Manually drop files into iPod music folder. Tada! Its really not that hard.

Fuck Itunes use MP3Million.com fucking 10cents a song and albums are like a 1-2 dollars and you don't have to download some gay program, oh and did I mention you can download the the song you bought as many times as you like 6 months after you bought it.

Go into services and manually start up the Apple Mobile Device service.

Problem solved.


Run-> Services.msc-> Right Click on Apple Mobile Device-> Start.

If you have antivirus software it may prevent you from connecting to the itunes store and thus will not allow you to sync. There's a DIY out there on how to configure your specific software so that it will work.
