    RIP Neil Armstrong

Definitely an American icon that will be missed.

A truly epic human being. He is someone who will be remembered thousands of years from now. I think it is safe to say that the man died happy.

Since I was a little kid, I always thought those first astronauts had to have the biggest balls of anyone in history. They were rocketed into space to land on a largely unknown moon and really had no idea what was going to happen. You know there was a certain amount of uncertainty of actually being able to come back or not but they still went.

A icon for the entire globe to look up to. If you watch some of the documentaries on the space race, particularly the Apollo missions you'll learn how incredible he was. By far one of the luckiest human beings ever to do the things he did IMO.

Open your fucking eyes and do some research on the matter before you derail a thread about a Hero to all humanity. There are conspiracies, the moon landings are not one of them. Please try to have some respect in your twisted scope of reality.

                              You're right. We didn't.

But Mr. Armstrong, Aldrin, and others did. RIP, space explorer.
