You can order from them as well but they are pricey, though I suppose cheaper than your local dealer. In fact I haven't found any place yet to order genuine nissan parts for my d21 hardbody that seem reasonably priced. They make e30 parts seem inexpensive in comparison.
btw, I have a factory repair manual .pdf for my 89. I think it shares the same engine as yours (VG30i) so most everything should carry over I believe. PM your email and I'll send it to you. It's basically like an e30 Bentley manual equivalent
Some Nissan dealers rock. I deal almost exclusively with Vallejo Nissan for parts for my Datsun. They cut me a good deal and they are more than happy to dig through the original parts book to look up a part that doesn't show up in the computer.
I have to say, the prices I get parts for through Nissan are usually far less than what the Datsun Roadster vendors are charging. Most of the time I'd rather spend my $ with those guys rather than paying out the ear for the same part from one of the vendors.
You might try your local dealer, you might be surprised.
