Bout to re-salvage my car tomorrow

So i'm going into the DMV tomorow to "surrender my plates" and get my car salvaged for the SECOND time.

We still have not gotten out pay-out check from the guy who hit me's insurance for the car damages, but my dad insists that it has to be done.

We already got the brake & lamp inspection and VIN verification by the CHP tomorrow.

    Anyone know what's going on?
Also, can I put my original blue plates back on the car, from 10 years ago (before the first salvage re-titling)

            not sure yet. :(
My dad just called me from the CHP office in Berkeley, telling me that an officer told him "to present a receipt for the bumper"
WTF? I got it off of my parts car, what kind of bull shit is this?

But can any one last-minute chime in? Do I really have to get the car salvaged again?
I already gave my dad the $190 for the 2013 registration sticker, but they wouldn't give it to him since the car needs to be "retitled" again.

I'm so angry and confused right now.

On top of this, we STILL haven't recieved the pay out for property/car damages from Ameriprize, or the guy who hit me.
My dad's been procrastinating small claims, keep prolonging it...and I saw the irresponsible, and lying jerk who hit me a few weeks ago in Alameda at a burger joint,
and he suggested me "taking him to court"

Lol Eric, just got my answer from the DMV.
              Apparently there's a one-time $32 re-installment fee...
Looks like I'll be tearing out of the DMV parking lot blaring Peter Gabriel in my "très 80s" period correct automobile.

i didnt think they would put "salvage" twice on a title. sounds fishy

                    Haha no they would.
The car was mistakingy salvaged in 2003 by my unaware father, then it got hit severely again last may, car is all fixed, but the DMV won't give you your sticker unless the car gets inspected..and when you do this, the car needs a new plate to certify that it's safe enough for the roads again...

Lolworthy yes, but I honestly dont give 2 farks.
I don't plan on ever selling this car.

Many years from now, I'll give this car to my son. Then grandson. Then great grandson. Then aliens.

                        hey so it didn't work.
i encountered some extremely rude hood rate bitch at the DMV counter, no suprirse.
She started talking shit and threatened to call the security on me for not even doing anything, i was polite the whole time.
she tried confiscating my plates even after i told her that i keep them on my wall so i walked off and left my dad at the counter, and hid my blue plates in the car.

then she called her manager, and i nicely talked to her, and filed a complaint on that rude ass hood rat bitch on the power trip.

anyways, they wont let me reinstate the blue plates for another 10 years in CA, so i got another pair of sequential plates.

now, ive decided to get some vanity environmental plates (regular background - not expensive)

Then after i get them, i'm going to buy a pair of repro. CA blue plates that match the new plates numbers.

So now, I'm trying to decide on some 7-character plate ideas....
Here are what i have so far, unless r3v can suggest some witty/not flaming shiiet.

                        1) SINA505
                        2) SSP_505
                        3) ROUGE83
                        4) SINA505
                        5) SINA505

                        YEAH I LIKE SINA505
