cut your fronts 1 coil, slightly lower, slightly stiffer spring rate. Spend money saved on herb, hot box, profit.

I lowered my car the summer after junior year in high school, and now I'm a sophomore in college looking at my car all funny.

I never replaced the springs since I lowered it, nor did I remove the e90 drop hats that I installed.

Last summer though, I installed some new Bilstein sport struts in the front.

plus it's an e30. You'll need to spend $$ elsewhere as things wear out and break (suspension bushings etc.)

I think the car has a nice stance as is, but it's your car, if you're happy, that's all that matters!

Probably just an optical illusion from the tires, my car looked higher in the front too after I put on slightly wider fitting tires. The only way to know for sure is if you measured the fender to ground distance before and after.

i think it's cause your tires are dirty and are making the fender well space more obvious.

cheap, easy way to test my theory and gain moar low: wash your car.

It does look like you're riding a bit higher, but at the end of the day, this is R3v, and you need more low.

More compression damping will not affect the car's static ride height; high pressure gas charge in the strut will.

The next stage is you leave it instead of searching for MOAR LOW YO on an otherwise stock car with 14" weaves. Looks fine where it's at, don't go full retard and get ride height dysmorphia on us.

That could be a good point that you've made yung babi.
If I remember correctly, one of the old struts was stuck compressed all the way down :D

Which takes me to the next question,
what's the next level of springs for the 91 318i/4?
I've heard that IR springs sit lower than the eibachs..
