    want a hybrid bicycle noob

    I've started to look into bikes lately but have no idea where to start. Whats a good one for street and light terrain?

    Check out the SUB series from Scott. Also might be on clearance from your local REI I think they are going to stop carrying Scotts.

            hmm, I went to a bicycle shop that sold only Giant bikes. May have to check them out again.
