No problem man, saved me the time of linking the pics! Got less than $5k into that thing including the purchase price... everything works, it's one of the best buy's i've ever made!

No way... 5k for that? I need to start looking at 4runners... I need a nice practical, off road capable vehicle.

5k includes the brand new wheels/tires, the lift & a CL non dented front bumper!

My goal was to buy a nice one for about 6.5k or a beat up one and mod it a little bit for less than a nice one. All I want to do now is HID retrofit and airbags in the rear springs to tow the E30 eventually... unless I find a TRD supercharger for cheap.

I'm not saying it looks bad. It still looks good.
The looks just went from "Accomplish All" to "Kill all!!!"
                  I'd rock it.

                        Epic Hilux

Welcome back Speedhunters! It’s been nine months since my last build update, so I thought it was about time that I brought you up to speed with the progress of my Hilux, which is now only months away from total completion. In a build of this magnitude you go through so many different stages, some of which …

Trying to find a new bed for mine, has done the whole North East swiss cheese thing on me over the spring/summer. Irony is wonderful as Toyota put a brand new frame on it in December. Can't fond these damn things at the pick n pull either....any other options for finding a decent used truck bed in the rust belt?

Oh its an '02 tundra extended cab (suicide doors).

make it a flat bed and put removable wood sides on it?

Thats always been an option but I'm looking for a direct replacement for now to keep up on future possible resale. Just trying to get an idea of cost vs effort. Had the thought of using reclaimed barn wood for a cool weathered look that I'd seal. Just something different.
