Computer help needed.

I have a gateway w350i laptop that had a cracked lcd. i replaced the lcd and the backlight comes on but no picture. Any ideas.

Pins for screen not connected? How old is it, does it have wires or plastic strip connections.

check wires/connectors... If it has another video out slot of some kind (HDMI/DVI/ETC) try hooking that up to a monitor and see if it will work. that will rule out your GPU/Integrated graphics.
