Best way to break up my ipod.

Ok here's the story before you guys think i am crazy/stupid.

I have a 3 yr service plan on my ipod but I want credit so I can either get the new one or something else. oh yea best buy...

I have sent it in once already to get serviced and policy states that if it gets sent back for repairs 3 times I will just get credit.

My plan is taking a battery from a drill 14.6 volts around.. getting two wires one pos and one neg and hooking it up to the bottom part of the ipod.

-or-

Taking the biggest magnet i can find (15" woofer) and rubbing my ipod on it.
