i just looked at the symtoms for strep and it definatly looks like i have it.

# red and white patches in the throat - yes they look nasty
# difficulty swallowing - yeah
# tender or swollen glands (lymph nodes) in the neck - shit, i thought i didnt have these but i just found one
# red and enlarged tonsils - yeah
# headache - yes!!! every day for the past week i have gotten a headach at the same time of the day
# lower stomach pain - not really i guess
# fever - yesterday at a game people were cold and i was buring the fuck up in shorts and a t shirt
# general discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling - oh yeah
# loss of appetite and nausea - yesterday i didnt eat from 7:45 when i ate breakfast till 10 when i went out to dinner with my freinds
# rash - not that i know of

every once in a while i will get a sharp pain in my arm but i dont know if thats related
i also felt like i was going to pass out sometimes yesterday

hopfully my dad can perscribe me some anitbiotics

well I'm glad that I don't have any of those symptoms, so now I know it's not strep,
But my throat has been killing me for about two weeks now. I'm just waiting it out, doesn't hurt to swallow so I'm drinking all the fluids I can.

my dad is one, although in a differnet area. he called in some penicilin and my mom is going to pick it up for me.

I think I might have this thing called Rheumatic fever

Rheumatic fever primarily affects children between ages 6 and 15 and occurs approximately 20 days after strep throat or scarlet fever. In up to a third of cases, the underlying strep infection may not have caused any symptoms.

the symptoms are pain in the joint which would explain my arm and bloody nose which would explain why there was a little blood in my nose when i blew it this morning. if left untreated it leads to heart failure. I just took a couple antibiotics my dad had left and should have more by the time i will need to take them again.

Man i had this problem last year around this time. I worked in a freezer and it sucked cause i was in and out of the cold and warm. Took me a month but i fought it off. Salt water, fluids and i drank a lot of green tea. Don't know if it helped but seemed to kick it on that stuff.
