Free at last, free at last...

...thank God almighty, she's free at last!

Just finally got my car out of the snow in the driveway, where she's been stuck since monday. I haven't even started it since then. There's finally enough melted off of the roads that I can drive again, so I went out and dug out the car, poured a nice helping of kitty litter behind each of the rear tires, and backed her out to FREEDOM!

Seriously, I know it's not that big of a deal, but it just made my whole fucking night. I'm in such a good mood... :D

Sometimes all it takes is going out and starting up the E30 to bring a smile to my face. Makes me remember why I love these cars so much.

I just got some Nokian Winter tires for the car!
The tire shop I took it to sprayed tire shine on the tire, well let's just say not just the sidewall, and got it pretty slick.

Anyways, now I can get out of my driveway easier

Damn, i remember when i had to call in sick to work, or call the school. i could usually get the car out of the driveway and garage, but when it came to getting it out of the culdesac, there was no way in hell.

Why the fuck would I shovel my whole culdesac? The whole neighborhood was uphill, both ways for 5 miles with like, 3 feet of snow.

Shovel or call in sick? That's an easy choice to make.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

And you were barefoot with your brother on your back and trying to get to school? Uphill both ways?

Actually... I wasn't meanin you, I was talkin bout the feller who couldn't get outta his driveway. I can't call in sick. The Army tells me when I can drive and when I can't. This past Monday it started snowing while I was at work. So the Army deemed it unsafe to drive in those conditions and shut down work early. It was kind of fun driving home actually.....
