Am I the only one who's sick of this whole "It's just taller and thinner" bullshit? What the fuck else could they possibly do to the phone? Any wider and it'd just be annoying to use and keep in your pocket (ahem, galaxy 3). Why should they drastically modify an already great design? I believe that it's currently the thinnest smartphone on the market, so the whole "thinner" thing is pretty damn important.

But is it a few hundred dollars more important? I would expect the newer one, like an automobile, to be better in every way or at least feature something new or innovative. For older iphone users it's going to be a nice upgrade, but I have no reason to trade my 4s for one.

If you have a full upgrade you can normally make a little bit of money on the upgrade, and if you have the $399 upgrade you can likely do it for like a hundred bucks. It really is better in every way--name one thing that they haven't improved.

Has anyone received a ship date for their phone yet? I hear att is screwing everyone over by shipping out on the 21st and not delivering by the 21st.
Ours went from delivery by the 21st to ship on the 21st. I placed my order with Verizon at 12am on the nose Friday morning. I'll just expect it will be here next week and be happily surprised if it gets here sooner.

I agree, in my mind this is biggest upgrade for the iphone ever, 2nd place is the jump from 1st gen iphone to 3g.
I remember when I had the 1st gen iphone, and a friend of mine had just gotten the 3G brand new, it was insane how much slower the 1st gen Iphone was.
Anyone switching from unlimited data to the LTE data plan? I heard that the only way to get the LTE is to switch from the Unlimited data and get the LTE plan.
