I rocked the long hair for a while to the end of high school and beginning of college
Then I cut it to pay homage to my dad and the 90's, plus being apart of the small percentage of people that can even do this is cool in it self so I went with the high top fade
All the while I been using suave ocean breeze body wash, for special occasions I pull out the Old Spice :D
I was lion king for a while this year then couldn't take the maintenance that came with it
Haha your hair is almost was almost as long as the current length of mine. I'm having racing thoughts through my head about doing the same shit but then I look at it all as a sort of accomplishment and reconsider. I had to give away my conair hairbuzzing kit to a friend a few weeks ago so that i wouldn't get tempted to cut my hair. SRS bznz.
Didn't have a haircut from March 2008 to May 2009. Needless to say, I looked fucking ridiculous, but I was on a BMX team until late 2010 and it was the style to wear skinnies, fitted caps and have long hair.
From May 2009 to June 2010, I got it cut every 2-3 months and I did like how it looked at the time (at the time being the key phrase, hindsight is always 20/20.) Towards the end, I started my long bout with depression and was sick of seeing my long ass hair, so I said "fuck it" and shaved my head all the way down to a 3. Kept that for a while, but even that was annoying, because it was too long for my tastes and I was constantly going in for haircuts, as it just looked funny. Started going to a two and did that for a year or so.
Been shaving my head down to a 1 once a week for the last year. Love how easy it is. Probsbly won't ever grow my hair out again.
by Deva Kaur Khalsa (Florida) Consider the possibility that the hair on your head is there to do more than just look good. From a yogic perspective, hair is an amazing gift of nature that can actually help raise the Kundalini energy (creative life force) which, in turn, serves to increase vitality, intuition and tranquility.
Personally I cut my hair as short as possible until I finished University, then I got tired of looking like "everyone else"/
I was also a bit...no wait, I was a wuss when it came to self confidence and being calm, and collected. I find that by keeping my hair long, I can consistantly fell more relaxed. Chics also seem to like it too, since I don't look like every other guy.
