Well.... as of next week I'll have 4 years left here in Germany. I just sealed the deal to re-enlist to stay Cav and with that.... stay here in Germany Perks.... I get to stay with my beloved unit, become an Airborne Cavalry trooper, change jobs, and I get a healthy bonus. Also get a free laptop and a free round trip air ticket for the wifey and myself to fly back stateside once. Plus I get to continue my small parts selling entreprenuership (did I even come close to spelling that right?) and get to do some serious driving.

Drawbacks..... I'm far away from my kiddo. Nothing a little "time sharing" can't overcome I guess. Figured I'd let all ya know since its the hot topic around my household at the moment and I'm kinda stoked. Went out and bought my Stetson and everything to celebrate the Army's first Light Airborn Cavalry unit.

No.... not with re-enlistment... but with 3 years retention the Ed center will give you one ;) Just gotta complete 13 Sem Hours of class through earmyu Hey... I'll be in touch in the next couple of days..... ;)

so nwo you've got time to get that touring right. by the time you come back to the states, you'll have the option of driving it for a year (you can finagle it so you can drive the car for 12 months on U.S. roads) then you'll only have like 2 years till you can register it legally without paying the crazy federalization costs
