And I'm not talking about the kind that goes on between F34R and LBv.
My dad just visited and told me he will be qualifying for nationals this year in épée at the ripe old age of 50. It got me thinking,
Do we have any classical fencers? Sport, foil, épée, saber?
Japanese blades? Kendo, Kenjutsu, Iaito?
Even the European long and broadsword styles and weapons have a following. (Although I don't know these as well)
I began sparring with oak bokken in an amalgamation of japanese styles around 12 with my dad later moving onto using shinai for a faster and safer alternative. Something we still do together when we visit one another.
Later, fenced for 3 years under Maestro Nick Evangelista learning the classic French foil.
Interested to know if there are any other practitioners or followers of the sword on r3v.
