If you want some legit italian food go to The Godfather Restaurant. The owners Isidoro and Maria have been family friends for along time they are straight from Sicily and trust me, you will not find better Italian food anywhere!

+1......I didn't go much when I lived there (since I was in N. county) but every time I visit I make it a point to go.

yeah its deeeeelish! I usually go a few times while I am visiting. I even took my Mexican fiancee there last trip, thinking she would hate it because she is always making homemade mexican food, she thought it was awesome!

I love their salsa!

Last night I went to "Old Town" and stopped at a place called "Coyote Cafe". Had a big chicken chimichanga, was awesome.

In and Out Burger for me was just as good as 5 Guys as far as an awesome meal goes, all in all they don't have the plethora of toppings that 5 Guys has but they do include raw or sauteed onions and a sauce with is good. 5 Guys has them on fries definitely. I would say 5 Guys is technically better due to those two facts, but I would flip a coin on picking one to go to and be satisfied either way.
