Anyone in the Pasadena California area Know someone who can work on a Chevy?

Hey, i have a friend who lives in Monrovia ca. Who has a 2000ish chevy blazer.

He started converting the truck to a Manual when he lost his job,and since Jan its been sitting.

I just now convinced him to hire someone to fix it, He needs someone to finsh the job.

He has all the parts,Minus the manual tranny which he says he can find.

Anyone know a shop that wont rape him on the price??? Thanks!
