Any suggestions? I like to play stuff by A7X, Asking Alexandria and more metalcore and alternative stuff like that,

Primus. I've been playing for over 20 years and I have yet to play one of Les's bass line correctly.

Metal wise I'd suggest picking up some of the later Faith No More albums, 'Angel Dust', 'King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime' or 'Album of the Year'. Good mix of heavy rock to over the top thrash metal.

Victor Wooten is by far the best bassist I've ever watched live.
