Any entomologists in the house?

I'd love to know what kind of bug this is:





My wife is freaked out by bugs, we've had a few of these make their way into the house once it started getting a little chilly around here. They're absolutely docile and harmless, but you can't tell her that; she flips out at the sight of one. I'd just like to be able to tell her exactly what they are so maybe she'd be *slightly* more rational about it.

I know they're just trying to get in out of the cold; yesterday I went into an ATM and there were probably 20-30 of them in there, the wife probably would have passed out

I remember as a kid it was kind of the same thing with ladybugs. Some years we'd have a ton get into the house around this time, but it wasn't every year. Seemed to be somewhat cyclical. We've been here 3 years and this is the first with these guys.

its a western conifer seed bug!!! no biting or stinging. its just cold.

It's one of those bugs that will crawl down your throat while sleeping and proceed to slowly kill you by eating your Intestines ... this will take 6-7 hours for the bug to complete,

drowsiness and headaches may occur during this period.

Fuck that that's a stink bug. I don't mind 95% of bugs, even spiders but I hate those fuckers, they will walk around your house all I don't give a fuck I'm a stink bug don't fuck with me until you accidentally squish them, then you have to smell their stink. They're like the honey badger of the insect world. I've had those rotten cocksuckers walk into my bed at night just to be flattened by me while sleeping, believe me waking up to that smell is not nice. Those and earwigs are the only bugs that really bother me.
