I think we can all agree the flu vaccine conspiracy thread is pretty farfetched.
But what are some conspiracy theories you believe in? They can be common, mainstream conspiracy theories, or ones you made up that maybe just you believe. Lets hear it.

I'll start. This one I thought of and it's relevant to r3v. (someone may have said it before but i've never heard of it)

The government is trying to get rid of all old cars like ours. Cash for clunkers, ethanol in gas, emissions testing, changing historic car laws, etc. If you want to go even more tinfoil hat you could more farfetched examples like lots of salt on roads to rust cars and insurance companies more easily "totaling" old cars giving them lower value than they're worth.
The government's incentive for this would be encouraging economic growth and the domestic auto industry. Also the "going green" thing.
In the future when driverless cars catch on(google's ones are already driving on our roads), there will be even more reason, and they will try to completely phase out human-driven cars.
I'm sure theres much more reasons you can think of too.

Believe what you want to believe. We are so far gone, government will always be able to over power the people, it could come out tomorrow that everything we have been told has been complete lies and it wouldn't matter, what can we do?

I don't believe in conspiracy theories. I believe in greedy corporations doing anything for a bigger profit(we discussed vaccines, hybrid plants that dont produce seeds, etc.) and an incompetant/corrupt government which is either in bed with said corporations or so incompetant it couldn't run a lemonade stand and just makes it worse.
That was a long sentece.
I dont picture a dark room with a 5 people planning out every last detail. Incompetance and/corruption. Solution?
Signed platform contracts with power to revoke office. If you are a politician and promise ie a tax cut. You must fulfill that promise or face being removed from office and trigger election. Remember politicians arent special or above the law. On the contrary they are public servants on public payroll and should be held to a higher standard.

Although it is said that right from the outset Mittens was the GOP candidate(actually it was blatantly obvious) and that the Gop is run by ten men. Polls, caucese blah blah blah are all meaningless. I still cant figure out why the media blackout of Ron Paul. And yes there was a blackout.

Edit:ughh I cant find the raw John Stewart video discussing it, or the blatant feed cut by CNN when talking with Ron Paul supporters. It really was pathetic. He should still run independant as the ultimate fuck you to the GOP. He could still win because he has alot of supporters in both parties. That would be an exciting election. All we have now is white and black Obama.

Not possible. Anyone who has ever worked in construction knows the logistics are simply impossible. Unless they had a completely invisible and silent demolitions team. Too many people would need to be involved and here we are 11 years later and no one has squeeled. That theory is dead. IMO.
