Picking mine up right after work tonight. Promised the lady friend we'd hang out tonight so I doubt if I get to play, I haz a sad.

Okay so I cheated and watched a couple videos, just of the driving though as I heard the driving physics may be sub par. In GTA4, there was body roll, there was pretty good damage and it was pretty realistic, with a few imperfections here and there. It added a more in depth gameplay. Just by watching comparison videos of GTA5, I have the feeling I am in for disappointment on the driving physics. Not that it is a game killer, but it really does take a step back from where the game was headed. All in all, I'll wait to see for myself how I feel about the driving, but from the looks of it, it is similar to saints row.

That's definately a downer. I'm more excited about the missions and the story line more than anything else. I hardly ever touched a car in GTA4 and it'll probably be the same on this one.

I've only played it about an hour after I got it from midnight launch. I love it but the driving is really disappointing. Feels likes midnight club.

Lol nobody is saying that, it's just disappointing to see that in GTA4 the driving physics were getting pretty nice, but then they took a step back and went to the old driving style for GTA5. Anywho, I have yet to play the game so I don't really have anything to stand on. I'll reserve judgement for when I get to play tonight!!

The article I read on IGN suggested that the driving in GTA4 was lacking (I agree with this) and that GTA5 saw improvements and more realism in the driving.
