    +1. Once you get all your bills & budgets entered it does a good job of tracking expenses & sending you alerts when bills are due, if you're so inclined. I really need to get an Excel spreadsheet going too, just in case.

      At one point I used Mint, at one point I used Quicken, but now adays its pretty damn simple

      1) I keep a minimum in my checking account that covers 4 months of bills
      2) Everything is electronic billpay and automatically debits the account when required
      3) All bills are setup to email me if they fail
      4) Places that require checks have a check automatically mailed out via my bank 2 weeks before they are due.

      Thats pretty much it. 100% automated. I just need to make sure i keep the correct amount of money in the correct accounts. I use outlook reminders and notifications for that.
