RC junkies that are still doing cars question

Duratrax Evader Brushless 2.4GHz RTR Is this car being phased out, is it a good kit? I bought some 1/16 Duratrax kits for my g/f's twins two years ago and as soon as I got them they were in process of being discontinued so this has made it hard to find PARTS!

These are brushless with a 2.4Ghz controller for under 200 each a good bargain at half off.

    Thoughts?

Duratrax are usually hard to come by in general from what I've seen. Traxxas, losi and associated are going to be much easier to find parts for on a steady basis.

They are also higher budget. At 199 they had everything except the charger so was really consider em.

hobby shop from my local track has great pricing. spent many an hour as a teen at the dirt track.

they have a special on the associated sc18, 199.98 for an rtr truck with battery AND charger. 2.4ghz too.

i also had a nitro evader at one point, was fragile and not a very good basher.
in the 10+years i spent racing them, i have to break an associated from minor crashes.
