I honestly find accents hard to pick in music, not so much with rapping as it's basically talking but I can rarely tell where a singer is from.
If you're interested in checking out more Australian hip hop, peep the Funkoars(grimy hardcore ish over funky prog rock sounding beats), Horrorshow(more indie Rhymesayers kind of sound), Pagen Elypsis(a large crew of young dudes that decimated our battle scene until the point they had to quit), Thundamentals, 360 and Pez(funny battle cats), Pegz(more old school traditional hip hop sound) and you could possibly call The Avalanches hip hop due to DJ Dexter winning DMC turntable battles and their album "Since I Left You" being comprised of samples.

The new Earth Crisis album, Neutralize the Threat. Those who know them will understand. This album is fucking amazing. I still have one of the posters from the show they played here in 1997, when I was still in high school. When I heard they were reforming the back in 2008, I about passed out.
