I love FedEx, and I've worked for them fairly happily, but incompetent employees usually cause problems and eventually lead to shitty service.

^They are affordable because they don't charge enough to cover their operating expenses, hence the multi-billion dollar losses.
FedEX again for the win.
Flywheel shipped from San Diego on Wednesday. Arrives on my door step yesterday.

USPS gets the job done is so affordable. I sent a 25lb box from Bremerton to Chicago area for $26. I dropped it off at Post Office Tuesday night it got there Monday morning.
I ship USPS whenever I can

UPS drivers (donne about Fedex, etc) have a timer in the seat. When they get up, it starts, when they sit down, it stops.
Our UPS guy said he doesn't give a fuck. He's been there 30 years, they can't really touch him.

That has never happened before.
Ive heard horror stories when that happens.
Its just a numbers game They are all going to screw you sooner or later
These carriers are only as good as the guy carrying YOUR package. Overall I think they all do a pretty good job considering the volume but USPS has the worst tracking Ive ever seen

We finally got the package I posted the screen shot to. Had to drive out there and get it ourselves.

Just called FEDEX and bitched them out as my package was not delivered again. Telling me that i had to drive and pick it up, an hour and a half away. After a few nice words she said that it will be on the truck tomorrow and they will reattempt delivery.

Huh
I have been told by several people they are paid by the load.............. That might be the freight side as opposed to delivery, idk for sure now.
Thanks

UPS guy dropped some shit off the other night pushing 9 pm and still had 40-50 stops left. Granted those subs are tightly packed.....
Not sure what country you're talking about, but UPS drivers ARE paid by the hour, though they are under alot of pressure to make a certain number of stops per hour, especially this time of year. Around here there is quite a waiting list to get a job as a UPS driver. I know one guy who worked as a loader/sorter at the sort facility for ~3-4 years before he was able to get on as a driver.

has happened to me before but with USPS. these fools said they tried to deliver like 2 or 3 times, never left a notice when i know someone was home. the whole time the tracking never updated past saying it arrived in my city at the distribution facility. so when i call to complain nobody knew where the package was and the company said they never recieved it from USPS as a return to sender. i talked to a manager at the post office who also didnt know anything. almost 2 weeks later it magically arrives at my house. nothing else was said.... pissed i was.
