      No, not really in this case. The 64 bit version is only slightly stronger in timed play. The logarithm remains the same.

        Here is the position after move 26. After just 10 minutes, Houdini sought 26 hard plys, and 73 soft @ 2954kN/s. The monster has itself at a full one point advantage. It should be noted that Houdini deemed two moves for black as "weak"...19....Rxf6 and 25....Qb5.

        The game continues...

          Is Houdini pro freeware by any chance? I want to throw it on i7 core with 32gb of ram and see what it does...
