A colleague of mine had HepC for a couple of decades and was really getting sick. She went on interferon injections for a year and now is well and undetectable, running half marathons in her early-fifties. She is one tough customer but you should do fine.

As a cancer patient, I can relate to shitty days during treatment. All I can say is, there are better days ahead. Don't focus on the calendar. When its done, its done.

The best thing you can do is stay on this board daily. It was a tremendous boost of positivity for me.

See you on the road bro.

I plan on using this place as a mood lifter for sure. R3v usually entertains well.

At this point, the part that has stuck the most from treatment are farts. Damn they smell like no other.

My sister had breast cancer and was one of the few that had no ill effects from her radiation or chemo i.e. nausea or vomitting. Still lost her hair and what not but she was never depressed nor did she lose her appetite. I think part of that was the fact that as a family we decided that talking about the cancer and feeling upset about it would do nothing but worsen the actual process of healing. So we just carried on as if nothing happened and kept things on the up and up.

I suggest getting a pet as well, when you start to build a close relationship with a pet and feel that unconditional affection animals provide, especially from dogs/puppies, you tend to forget what is bothering you and just start enjoying the company and attention.

I really do wish you all the best, as of late I have been feeling like I should try and help people in any way I possibly can so I hope my words can and will somehow help you.

My father had a treatment for hep C that he got from a hospital in the 70's. It was an experimental treatment at the time (a couple of years ago), with a 50/50 chance, and he just happened to be lucky.

If yours is anything like how his was then to remember that the end result, what you should remember 24/7, is better than what it potentially could be without it.

Yeah, liver failure would be bad. I have cats, dog is not an option for me as I rent a room from people. My kittehs cheer me up, especially when I get the laser pointer out. Cats on crack status.

Best of luck with your treatments. My grandfather has some liver issues from having it and never really getting it taken care of. Glad to hear you're getting it taken care of now.

Wish you Best of luck man! My dad got it from a bad blood transfusion in the early 60's. I remember the pain he had when he took shots to the stomach every night

I am diabetic so the shots do not bother me at all.

Felt like total shit all day today.

Life goes on though. I need to get my tool box organized to sell it, gonna try to get out to it in the morning.

I appreciate the support fellas. :D
