I remember having one I got from a friend. It was either a Civic or an RSX.
Anyone remember or have the XMOD rc cars??

I've got an older Mini-Z Overland, with the Pajero body. oil shocks, LSD, upgraded motor, brake lights, taillights, headlights, etc. Does pretty well, but the suspension is still way too stiff.

The Mini-Z overlands where alot of fun...this thread makes me wanna get mine going again.

The suspension worked alot more realistically then the xmod trucks, but the xmod trucks could be made to be 4WD.
Also had the Ma-010 Mini-Z when it first came out...

Now I REALLY want to play with these things again. Still have all of them. But they need batteries lol.1985 325e M50TU(Sold)

Yes I had one of these also. I put about $600 into that little thing. I bought a brushless setup with lithium batteries, different gears, wheels, oil filled shocks, aluminum parts, carbon fiber chasis, ugraded steering servo.
I got it to about 35 mph. That is fast when it is only 4 inches long...Comment

I put ttoonnss of money updating my t-maxx to the "new standards" because it is the very first version (1.5 or something) and then the 2.5 motor took a shit on me so I put it in the shed.
If I ever get the chance I will buy one brand new and go form there.Comment

A buddy of mine is running an E-revo with the castle mamba monster (IIRC) and 22 volts of Li-po fury, it is simply stupid fast.
Back on topic, I had a civic x-mod, don't know what ever happened to it... I'm pretty sure I wired up a 7.2v battery to it for giggles, and the fun ended soon after. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

I had completely forgotten that when i moved, i packed all my Mini-Z stuff into a box... After seeing this thread i located it in the garage....

2x Overland, 2x MR01, 1x MR010 AWD... Now to see what I can get to run...
I have a bunch of spare motors, LSD axles, springs - pretty much every component from when I went to Hong Kong when I was 15 (9 years ago...)
