But he gave me all the wax,the cds and the Player. :)

Best christmas ever. Yeah its no SL1200,but who gives a shit its free and plays really good.

1200s aren't really the industry standard anymore- when i started playing, using CDs meant you were a "lesser" DJ, now they're all you see unless you're at a hipster/audiophile event. cool that it's got XLR out, though. enjoy :)

I have a pair of CDJ1000 MK3s that i use mostly,But i will always love wax. :D

I have all the old DJ gear; tables, mixer and a bunch of vinyl. But now I just use my computer, no tables at all. It's too easy noadays but atleast I know how to match a beat the old way.
