I want to Navigate on my laptop

I open Google Maps, type in "SUSHI PLZ," Google gives me turn by turn directions super easy.

How can I do this on my Toughbook? No integrated Gobi, but I do have a Bluetooth GPS receiver. Looked into Google Earth, MS Streets and Trips, want something easier, like my phone.

I think Navigon and some others make PC versions of their navigation software.

Run android on a PC? I would guess that the phone apps are probably the most up to date as they are the most used.

Thats what I'm thinking, since Google is constantly updating their maps. And actually, I believe Nokia(?) is next level when it comes to maps due to TomTom. I'd like to be able to quickly type an address in and get directions to a location, not necessarily "Turn in 200ft" but a general map with a blue line on it.

Well you can already use google maps on your tough book to get turn by turn directions so I'm assuming you want A blue dot to show your current position as well so you would need some gps ad on device to attach to your lap top and software to go with it. They make things like this but I feel it would be cheaper and less hassle to deal with if you just bought a used gps unit. Using a laptop while driving a car just does not seem convenient to me so I'm confused why you are looking to do such a thing.

Ambulance with a Toughbook in a mount with a Navigator. Right now we use hand drawn paper mapbooks that are so 1970s.
